AmStar Inc. is a Commercial Construction and Commercial Property Management Company that has been in business for nearly a quarter century. We are located in Louisville, KY (also known as the Derby City) and serve customers in the Southern and Midwestern regions. We have a diverse customer base, ranging from retail, corporate/office, financial, restaurant, religious and education to healthcare, wellness, recreation, data centers and government facilities.
We are a woman-owned family business guided by firmly held values. Uncompromising integrity, hard work and perseverance, humility and gratitude are at the heart of the company and each employee. So, how do these values translate into our work? Wendy has been with AmStar from its inception, as an owner and officer of the company, although functioned as a silent partner through the early years. But as the company continued to grow and succeed, Wendy shifted gears and took a visible and more active role in the business, assuming the responsibilities of company president in 2012.

From big picture concept to the smallest detail, Gary has a passion for perfection, and he applies his more than 25 years of experience to every AmStar project. Prior to founding AmStar in 1991, that experience included supervising tenant-finish and site-management projects for large contracting companies as well as supervising the construction of major bridges in Kentucky and Indiana.
